Moving beer across all of Western Canada is the first priority of Kyle Oliver, Senior Operations Manager at Brewers Distributor LTD, a privately-held joint venture business owned by Molson Breweries and Labatt Breweries. But not far behind that was temperature control in its 170,000 square foot distribution center in Alberta. “There were a lot of hands in the pot for handling the temperature,” notes Oliver. The company was looking not only for cost savings, but also sought to achieve a consistent temperature through the space, particularly challenging with the bay doors constantly opening and closing. 

ENASTAT was the obvious choice for Brewers Distributor. Now the ability to control thermostat lies exclusively with Oliver and his assistant manager. After setting up multiple zones and a schedule for running the heaters, runtime was reduced dramatically resulting in savings of 15-20%.
